NETGEAR AV Line M4250 Switches
The NETGEAR AV Line of M4250 Switches has been specifically developed and engineered for audio/video professionals, offering dedicated service and support. These switches are designed from the ground up to cater to the growing AV over IP market, leveraging NETGEAR’s years of networking expertise and best practices from the professional AV sector. The AV Line of M4250 targets widespread 1Gbps AV codecs and supports PoE+, Ultra90 PoE++, and rear-facing ports for clean integration in AV racks.
With pre-configured settings for standard audio and video signals, the M4250 switches simplify installation. Additionally, a dedicated AV user interface allows customization via port-based profiles. Audio profiles include support for Dante, Q-SYS, AES67, and an AVB profile (AVB license sold separately). Video profiles cater to NVX, AMX, Q-SYS, NDI, Dante, and mixed audio/video/control profiles. When multiple switches are used, NETGEAR’s IGMP Plus™ provides seamless automation, enabling effortless interconnection.
